The Old Chequers has plenty of space, both in its living areas and large bedrooms. We have taken care to provide a luxury experience by fitting the bedrooms with top-quality bedding and imported down and feather pillows. The duvets are super comfortable and temperature regulating, made from high thread count cotton. The Master Bedroom is the epitome of a luxury room, with a large en suite, dressing room, ante room, and its own separate entrance from the pebbled driveway. The Ante Room has been furnished with a sofa-bed and TV, and we use it as a bedroom for our younger children when we visit. There is also a newly added bunk bed by the Master, providing families with sleeping space for an additional two kids.

Master Bedroom
The Master Bedroom is positioned above the lounge, which is slightly separate from all the other rooms. To access the Master, you first walk through a large dressing room and then enter the beautiful and tranquil bedroom that looks over the walled garden and stream. There is a sumptuous super-king bed, armchair and vanity/desk space. The underfloor heated en suite has a large, freestanding bath, a walk in shower and a double basin.
Bedroom 2
This room enjoys a super-king bed which can be split into twin beds. This bedroom has a little more space than the rest of the bedrooms, and we think of it as the second master bedroom. It allows extra space for a travel cot or blow-up mattress for younger children. The room has both a bath and shower in the en suite, which is ideal for those with young children.
Bedroom 3
This third king-sized bedroom has been furnished with solid mango wood pieces. The room is next door to Bedroom 4, which also sees the afternoon sun. This en suite has a shower.
Bedroom 4
Nestled between the 3rd and 5th rooms, it has a king size bed with a wardrobe and an armchair. This bedroom enjoys the wonderful afternoon sun and looks out onto the pebbled driveway. The en suite to this bedroom has a bath-shower combo.
Bedroom 5
Upstairs, at the far end of the house, is the 5th bedroom which has a solid wood king size bed, bedside tables and matching wardrobe. This bedroom has an en suite with a shower. As the other bedrooms, the bed is fitted with high-end linens and top quality pillows.
Bedroom 6
This room was the original entrance to the pub, where the bay window now sits. The bedroom has been designed to be wheelchair friendly and has an ensuite wet room shower. The bedroom has a super-king bed which can be made into twin beds. The room has been tastefully decorated with a solid wood wardrobe, bedside tables and two comfortable armchairs.

Each of our bedrooms feature its own full en suite. There is also an additional bathroom downstairs. Enjoy the comfort of added luxuries like branded robes and slippers, to use during your stay. The Master en suite is a large bathroom with a shower, luxurious bath, and underfloor heating for ultimate comfort.
